In Pescara for a weekend or a holiday? At La Prora you don’t need to book the whole summer: we keep many umbrellas and Palme for day guests, including in the first two rows close to the sea, subject to availability.

Our beach spots
The “Palme” are large shade structures that give you more space than a regular beach umbrella.
- Palma XXL – 4 metres in diameter, standing on three legs like a gazebo, recommended for 10–12 people.
- Palma XL – 4 metres in diameter, recommended for 10 people.
- Palma L – 3.5 metres in diameter, recommended for 8 people.
- Palma M – 2 metres in diameter, recommended for 5–6 people.
- Ombrellone Hawaii – 1.5 metres in diameter, recommended for up to 4 people.
A standard umbrella is a practical choice for a couple. If you are travelling with children or a group, a larger Palma gives everyone more shade and room.

How to book
Book online: choose the date and your spot, and see availability and prices before you confirm. The booking system is very visual and easy to use, even if it is not in your language. You can also call us or send a WhatsApp message.
Pool entry is not included in a beach booking: if you would like to spend time at the swimming pools, book it separately.
A day just the way you like it
Arrive in the morning, soak up the sun, have lunch at the restaurant, play beach volleyball and end the day with an aperitivo. No need to plan anything in advance. Not sure which beach suits you? Read our guide to the best beaches in Pescara.
Bad weather and the unexpected
- Booking mix-ups: if something goes wrong with your booking, we will put it right by giving you the best spot available for what you booked.
- Cancel up to 48 hours before: you can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the day you booked, under the conditions of your booking.
- A voucher if the weather spoils your day: if bad weather stops you from using the beach for at least 4 hours, you get a voucher valid for 12 months from the date it is issued.

Yes, day bookings are available subject to availability, including in the front rows.
What is a Palma?
A Palma is a large shade structure that gives more space than a standard beach umbrella. It comes in four sizes: XXL, XL, L and M.
Is the pool included with a beach booking?
No. Pool entry is paid and booked separately.
